If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply curious about understanding yourself better — therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from professional support. Many of our clients come to us proactively, not just when things have reached a breaking point. If you’re unsure, our free 20-minute consultation is a great way to find out.
The easiest first step is to book a free consultation through our website or call us at (818) 964-1806. We’ll help you understand your options, match you with the right therapist, and answer any questions you have before committing to anything.
Finding the right fit matters more than most people realize — and we take it seriously. During your consultation, we’ll talk through what you’re looking for, your goals, and any preferences you have around approach or style. We’ll then recommend the therapist on our team who is best suited to your specific needs. If the fit doesn’t feel right after a session or two, we’re happy to help you find a better match.
Your first session is a chance for your therapist to get to know you — your history, what’s brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for the therapist’s style and ask any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. The first session is the beginning of a conversation, not an exam.
Yes. We have therapists specifically trained to work with children and adolescents, using age-appropriate approaches including play therapy, art therapy, and CBT. We also work closely with parents throughout the process to ensure the whole family system is supported.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy used to help people process traumatic memories and reduce their emotional charge. It is particularly effective for PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and persistent negative beliefs rooted in past experiences. If you’re unsure whether EMDR is right for you, your therapist will assess your needs and discuss all available options during your consultation.
An intensive therapy getaway is a concentrated, multi-day therapeutic experience that compresses months of weekly sessions into a dedicated block of time. It’s designed for individuals or couples who want to create real momentum — breaking through stuck patterns, processing complex trauma, or addressing a relationship in crisis — without waiting weeks between sessions.
Session rates vary depending on the therapist, session type, and length. We are committed to making therapy as accessible as possible and offer flexible scheduling and affordable rates. Please contact us directly or visit our Fees & Insurance page for current pricing information.
We work with a number of insurance providers. We recommend contacting us directly so we can verify your specific benefits and confirm your coverage before your first session. If we are not in-network with your plan, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
We believe cost should not be a barrier to mental health care. Please reach out to discuss your situation — we are happy to talk through options and do our best to find a solution that works for you.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. Your therapist will go over the specific policy with you at the start of your work together.
Teletherapy sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection. Your therapist will send you a link prior to your session. Teletherapy is available to clients throughout California and offers the same quality of care as in-person sessions.
We have three in-person locations: Culver City (5183 Overland Ave), Simi Valley (2380 Shasta Way), and Westlake Village (32107 Lindero Canyon Rd, Suite 203). We also offer virtual sessions statewide throughout California.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday from 8:30am to 11:00am, and Sunday from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate a variety of routines.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. Everything you share with your therapist is private and protected by law. There are a small number of legally mandated exceptions — such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others — which your therapist will explain fully at the start of your work together.
This session is a chance to talk about your struggles, define your objectives, and choose the best course of treatment. Our goal is to make sure you have a sense of understanding, alignment, and confidence regarding the future.
We’re happy to answer anything before you get started — no commitment required.
